The Weston Warrior Lacrosse Club Inc. 501(c)(3) will be entering its twenty-fifth season beginning January 2019.
This is not an "in-house" league! We are a travel recreational league who competes over four counties. Our competitive program is committed to the success and promotion of the sport of lacrosse within the rules established by the South Florida Youth Lacrosse League.
Number Of Teams
All teams will fill quickly. We will not be accepting registrations after the teams are full.
Currently the intended breakdown for 2019 is as follows:
Mini Mites (4 years) - 1 Team
Mighty Mites (U6) - 1 Team
Bantam Boys (U8) - 1 Team
Bantam Girls (U8) - 1 Team
Lightning Boys (U10) - 1 Team
Lightning Girls (U10) - 1 Team
Junior Boys (U12) - 1 Teams
Junior Girls (U12) - 1 Team
*Senior Boys (U14) - 1 Team
*High school freshman are allowed to play at this level as long as they are not playing for their high school as well.
2019 Fees and Rules
The registration fee includes city recreation fee, referee fees and other costs incurred to support the entire program. At the time of registration you must verify your player's U.S. Lacrosse membership. If their membership expires before 5/31/2019 you will need to renew their registration at a cost of $25. New players all must have U.S. Lacrosse registration as well. The cost for U.S. Lacrosse registration is $25. Players keep their uniforms at seasons end. Also each player will receive a give away item at the end of the season (recent examples include wicking shirts, hoodie sweatshirts, ball caps...). We don't charge for Sunday clinics and we don't charge for either our kick off picnic or year end awards or season ending party.
Boys U10-U14 Fees = $300 Early registration. Price increase October 1st $350, final price increase November 1st to $375
Girls U10-U14 Fees = $275
Girls and Boys U8 Fees = $225 Price Increase November 1st to $275
Coed Mini Mites = $100
If a player must drop out for any reason the following refund schedule will apply due to jersey orders and promotional giveaways:
All refund requests must be made in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org.
1. If we receive notice that you wish to withdraw from WWLC by 6:00 pm Thursday, December 31, 2018 you are entitled to a 100% refund of your 2019 WWLC registration fee.
2. If we receive notice that you wish to withdraw from WWLC by 6:00 pm Sunday, January 17, 2019 you are entitled to a 75% refund of your 2019 WWLC registration fee.
3. If we receive notice that you wish to withdraw from WWLC by 6:00 pm Sunday, January 24, 2019 you are entitled to a 50% refund of your 2019 WWLC registration fee.
3. There will be no refunds granted after 6:00 pm Sunday, January 24, 2019.
Should your player sustain a season ending injury prior to the start of games 50% of your 2019 WWLC registration fee will be refunded.
Refunds will not be granted for season ending injuries sustained after the start of games.
